Jose A. Hernandez-Solaun is a highly accomplished and multifaceted leader. He is the founder and managing partner of 3.0 Capital, an alternative asset investment advisory firm. As a serial entrepreneur, he owns several companies spanning various industries, from airport concessions to real estate.
Prior to his current roles, Hernandez-Solaun served as the President of The Easton Group for over a decade and held the position of Senior Vice President at GE Capital for more than 15 years. He has also shared his expertise as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the University of Miami and currently serves as a professor and the International Wine and Food Executive in Residence at Florida International University's School of Hospitality.
Hernandez-Solaun's commitment to philanthropy and community service is equally impressive. He has served as Vice Chair of The Miami Foundation and currently holds board positions with the Florida Council of 100, the University of Miami Alumni Association, and the Orange Bowl Committee, among others. He is also the President of the Miami Branch of the International Wine and Food Society and the Chairman of the Hernandez-Solaun Foundation, which focuses on educating young adults on personal finance, credit, and entrepreneurship.
Academically, Hernandez-Solaun holds a BA in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and International Business from Florida International University, an MBA from the University of Miami, and an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
